This directory contains GENESIS scripts for user-contributed models (other
    than single cell models, which are in the cells directory)

Audi-1.00 - This package contains a code that compiles into a GENESIS 2.0
    library. The library provides a set of objects that implements a model of
    the cat's auditory nerves.  The model itself is Laurel Carney's work, and
    is based on:  Carney, L.H., J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 93:401-417 (1993)

    It is archived in Audi-1.00.tar.Z.

Clchan - This directory and the gzipped tar file Clchan.tar.gz contains a
     GENESIS model of the unusual calcium-dependent chloride channel
     (Kurahashi and Yau, 1994) of the olfactory sensory neurons.  This model
     channel was used in the simulation of a vertebrate receptor cell of the
     olfactory epithelium (Simoes-de-Souza and Roque, 2002).

hippo - This contains a small hippocampal network model consisting
     of 72 pyramidal cells (Traub 94 model) and 18 interneurons (similar to
     that submitted by Menschik and available in cells/traub95, but
     developed independently).  Developed and submitted by Kerstin Menne.

hippo2.tar.gz - When unpacked, this contains an improved version of Kerstin
    Menne's hippocampal network model, along with extensive documentation
    in README files and pdf files of her thesis and two papers.  (45 MB)


tritonia - This is the GENESIS 1.4 version of the three neuron model of
    the tritonia CPG described in Chapter 6 (by Peter Getting) of "Methods in
    Neuronal Modeling", edited by Christof Koch and Idan Segev.
    It is archived in tritonia1.4.tar.Z.  It would be a nice student project
    to convert this to GENESIS 2 syntax.
