We have just received a 5 year grant from the NIH to fund the support, maintenance and further development of GENESIS. This will allow us to continue and increase our support of GENESIS through BABEL, hire the programming staff to issue more frequent bug fixes and updates to the GENESIS distribution, develop new GENESIS-based tutorials and documentation, hold an annual GENESIS Users Group meeting, and continue development of GENESIS as a tool for the construction of realistic models.
