Developer Installation

Definition

A GENESIS developer installation is defined as an installation that synchronizes with the GENESIS Developer Repositories that are under version control.

Supported Operating Systems

The following operating systems are currently supported for developer installations of GENESIS:

• Debian Server
• Fedora 10
• Fedora 12 and Higher
• Ubuntu (Lenny/Sid)
• Ubuntu (Karmic)
• Ubuntu (Lucid)
• Ubuntu (Maverick)
• Mac OSX

Currently the installation information for Fedora 12 and Higher provides the most recent general information on software dependencies and installation procedure, in addition to Fedora-specific details.
